There are rules about what a clinic in the UK is allowed to say about certain treatments. Prescription-only medicines cannot be advertised to the public, which is why you will not find brand names, prices or before-and-after photographs on this page — and why you should be cautious about clinics where you do.
What we can do is talk to you. Book a consultation and Alicia will assess your face in person, explain what is causing the lines that are bothering you, and set out every option — including the ones that do not involve an injection at all.
Why this has to start with a prescriber
Since 1 June 2025, the Nursing and Midwifery Council has required nurse and midwife prescribers to assess a patient face to face before prescribing any medicine for a non-surgical cosmetic procedure. Remote prescribing — where a prescriber signs off treatment they have never seen — is no longer permitted.
Alicia is an independent prescriber and assesses, prescribes and treats herself. In many clinics those are three different people, and in some the prescriber has never met you.
This is worth asking about wherever you go.
What the consultation covers
Lines have more than one cause, and the same line on two different faces can need two different answers. At consultation we look at how your face moves, at the quality and thickness of your skin, at volume loss underneath, and at your medical history and any medication you take.
Some of what we find responds to injectable treatment. Some of it responds better to skin treatments, or to sun protection and time. We will tell you honestly which is which, and you are under no obligation to book anything.
