Nurse-prescriber-led aesthetics in the Lincolnshire countryside

Considered aesthetics, without the hard sell

A private clinic in the Lincolnshire countryside, run by one nurse prescriber who treats one person at a time. No pressure, and an honest answer if we think you don't need the treatment you came in for.

Alicia Marsland at work in the treatment room: navy scrubs, blue nitrile gloves, her attention entirely on what her hands are doing.

Who leads the clinic

Alicia Marsland, nurse prescriber

Alicia qualified as a nurse in 2009 and has spent seventeen years in clinical practice. She holds an independent prescriber qualification, is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and has trained in advanced facial anatomy in Harley Street.

She leads a small team, all fully trained in the treatments they carry out. You will not be assessed by one person and injected by another.

The clinic

The treatment room at Glebe Farm: a single couch on a jute rug, a wooden floor, a yucca by the window and daylight from one side.

Why people drive past three other clinics to get here

Most aesthetic treatment in this part of Lincolnshire is delivered in a room above a salon, in half-hour slots, by someone who cannot prescribe.

That is not what happens here. Alicia is an independent nurse prescriber with seventeen years of clinical experience. For injectable treatments, she assesses you in person, prescribes only if it is appropriate, treats you herself, and sees you again two weeks later to check the result. There is one appointment in the diary at a time, so nobody is waiting in a corridor and nothing is rushed.

The clinic is at Glebe Farm in Donington — roughly twenty minutes from Spalding, Boston and Sleaford, with parking directly outside and a private entrance.

Before you book

The things you should be checking

Registered and prescribing

NMC-registered independent prescriber. You can check the register entry yourself.

Prepared for complications

Hyaluronidase held on site, with a written protocol and a contact route that works out of hours.

  3. Discussion of what is causing what concerns you, and every appropriate option.

  4. A written plan with costs, if you want one.

  5. Time to go away and think

Nothing is decided in the room unless you want it to be.

Allow 45 minutes.

Common questions

Do I need a consultation before treatment?

Yes, every time. For anything involving a prescription-only medicine it is a legal and professional requirement that a prescriber assesses you in person. For everything else it is simply how we work — we would rather understand your face before we change it.

Where exactly are you?

Glebe Farm, Church End, Donington, Spalding PE11 4SQ. About fifteen minutes from Spalding, twenty from Boston and twenty-five from Sleaford, with free parking directly outside.

Is there parking?

Yes, free and directly outside the clinic. There is no town-centre parking to find and no walk at the other end.

Will I be treated by the person I speak to?

For injectable treatments, yes. Alicia carries out the consultation, the treatment and the review herself, and every prescription-only consultation is with her. Other treatments are with a member of her team who is fully trained in them.

Start with a conversation, not a treatment

Every appointment begins with a face-to-face consultation. You are under no obligation to be treated on the day, and we would rather you left without treatment than with the wrong one.
